Tristesse (The Sad Vest)

Made from 100% rescued leather, this vest carries a graphic, almost narrative composition across its surface. The front is detailed with two heart motifs, while the back reveals a face-like design with two eyes, turquoise tear drops, and a mouth showing two white teeth. Each element is stitched directly into the leather for permanence and durability.

The interior is lined with a vintage 100% cotton floral fabric in warm auburn tones, adding softness and contrast against the structured exterior. All edges are finished with cobalt blue cotton bias tape, giving a clean and defined outline to the silhouette.

A unique piece with intentional character, including a small dent in the leather at the back, embraced as part of its material history and individuality.
