Chiquinha Pillbox
Pillbox hat made from a vintage jacquard upholstery fabric with a thick, structured multicoloured weave, likely from the 1970s. A strong textile with a vivid mix of pink and blue tones, full of character and history.
Finished with light blue ribbons and tassel details, developed through a unique technique combining stitching, stiffening, and hand construction. The structure is built directly into the fabric, giving the hat its shape and sculptural presence but keeping a light wear and flexibility. Lined with vintage DDR cotton bedsheets in soft pink tones.
A handmade piece built through process and material experimentation — somewhere between object and garment, fully reworked into a wearable hat.

Vest Chiquinha
Cotton vest made from a vintage jacquard upholstery fabric with a thick, structured multicoloured weave, likely from the 1970s. A strong textile with a vivid mix of pink and blue tones, full of character and history.
Finished with light blue tassel fringes for movement and texture, and a matching blue biais tape for a clean edge. Closed at the front with pink vintage buttons sourced from a French flea market, adding a playful contrast detail.
